Unfortunately, it is not open to the public! The Groß Gievitz manor house is a baroque manor house situated in an idyllic park. The original building probably dates from the first half of the 18th century (around 1730), while the surviving stables were built around 1700.

The cycle path runs as an extension of Specker Straße along the eastern shore of Lake Feisneck and leads south into the Müritz National Park. It begins on the southeastern outskirts of Waren and offers cyclists a well-maintained, smooth asphalt path. The surrounding area is characterized by dense natural scenery: reed beds stretch along the shore of Lake Feisneck, while forests flank the path to the east. The road provides an attractive gateway to the Müritz National Park and allows for nature observation and relaxation in a quiet, natural setting.

A superbly developed and well-maintained cycle path with no damage. It's fun to "float" along it, surrounded by the wonderful, rustic forests of Müritz National Park 👍.

Idyllic surroundings and a lovely view. I wouldn't drive the extra miles to this dead-end street just for the view, though, unless I wanted to stop at the lovely Müritzhof next door.

Lake Müritz is a lake within the Mecklenburg Lake District, located in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is the largest lake entirely within Germany. The Müritz National Park, established in 1990, is situated in southern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is Germany's largest terrestrial national park. The park encompasses the two geographically separate areas of the Mecklenburg Lake District and part of the Feldberg Lake District. Waren, with over 21,000 inhabitants, is a medium-sized town and a spa resort. It is the seat of the Waren Lake District administrative district, which comprises twelve municipalities. Röbel is a small town on the western shore of Lake Müritz. It is the administrative seat of the Röbel-Müritz administrative district, which includes 18 other municipalities. Röbel serves as a regional center for the surrounding area and is a state-recognized resort town. Among other things, there is a boat service and a bus service through the national park between Waren and Röbel.

Klein Plasten Castle was owned by the von Kamptz family until 1789. It then passed to the Danish Captain von Blücher, who had a single-story, 12-bay half-timbered house built in the Baroque style around 1700. It was repeatedly sold and repeatedly altered. The left tower was built in 1899, followed by the wide right tower. After the war, refugees moved in; it became a training and recreation center, then a conference hotel, and is now vacant.
