The Zarrenthin Kiessee is an artificially created gravel pit lake in the Zarrenthin district of the municipality of Bentzin in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It was created as a result of industrial gravel mining that began in the 1960s. Geologically, the lake lies in a meltwater channel formed during the Weichselian glaciation. It has an area of 54 hectares, a length of 1.5 kilometers, a width of 500 meters, and a maximum depth of up to 28 meters.

Jarmen's old town is a tranquil, small-town ensemble clustered around the triangular Old Market Square, near the neo-Gothic St. Mary's Church. Until 1967, this Old Market Square served as the central traffic junction, carrying all traffic from the then Federal Highway 96 from the Peene Bridge.

In 1906, the memorial stone for the fallen soldiers of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71 was inaugurated on the Neuer Markt in Jarmen.

The inauguration of the school building at Demminer Straße 11 took place in 1896. Mayor Albrecht delivered the ceremonial address and handed the building over to Principal Juds.

The former department store at Neuer Markt 5 in Jarmen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, was built in 1912 as Haus Waterstraat and is a listed building. It is a two-story commercial building with Art Nouveau elements, a three-story gable, and a mansard roof, located on a triangular square. During the GDR era, it served as an HO department store. As part of urban development funding, the building was renovated around 1992/1994 and has since housed a branch of the Volksbank Demmin.

The Jarmen Kleinbahnhof (little railway station) was an important railway junction in the small town of Jarmen in Western Pomerania. It served as a shared station for several private railways with different gauges: the Greifswald-Jarmener Kleinbahn (GJK) and the Demminer Kleinbahnen Ost (DKBO) with a 750 mm gauge, as well as the Mecklenburg-Pommersche Schmalspurbahn AG (MPSB) with a 600 mm gauge. There were two stations: Jarmen (MPSB) and Jarmen Nord for the GJK and DKBO.

The administrator's villa (also known as the official residence) of the former Jarmen sugar factory was located at the western end of Fabrikstraße in Jarmen. It served as the residence of senior employees of the sugar factory, which operated from 1897 to 1990. The building was part of the extensive factory grounds, which included production halls, storage rooms, and administrative buildings, as well as living quarters for the staff.
