⭐🌳 The "Siebengestirn" Village Square The square was created in the 1980s by the Krimpenfort village community through their own efforts and has since served as a popular meeting place for residents and a rest stop for cyclists. The square features a lovely playground and a barbecue hut, making it ideal for family celebrations, village events, or a relaxing break.

⭐🌳 The "Siebengestirn" village square is an idyllic and community-designed meeting place in the Krimpenfort district of Lohne. The square is located on Siebengestirn Street in the Krimpenfort farming community. The unusual name has historical roots: Seven different streets or paths from various directions converge at the central village square. This arrangement is reminiscent of the Pleiades, a prominent star cluster in the constellation Taurus.

Nestled in Vechta, the Citadel Park impresses with its extensive park, which offers an ideal ambience for those seeking relaxation. The park is a real gem that was not only lovingly designed by gardeners and landscapers, but also serves as a stage for artists and artisans. Here you can stroll along walking paths lined with a variety of plants, grasses and perennials. Whether flower bulbs or fruit trees, the biodiverse model gardens invite you to enjoy the interplay of nature and art. The total garden area also includes a forest area that serves as a relaxing retreat. Events are regularly held on the exhibition and activity area, including the popular Burgmannentage with its medieval spectacle and impressive knight fights. Another highlight is the museum in the armory, which offers interesting insights into the history of Vechta. Whether in the heat of summer or in the cooler months, the Citadel Park remains an indispensable destination among Vechta's sights. https://digitalradiosaar.de/freizeit/vechta-sehenswuerdigkeiten/

Once a year the knights meet here - in the Citadel Park, Vechta's green lung and place of relaxation, just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the district town's shopping street. Because the Burgmannentage, a medieval spectacle, exciting knight fights and a medieval market take place here every year on the last weekend in September. But the Citadel Park in Vechta is also definitely worth a visit on all other days of the year. After extensive archaeological excavations from 1987 to 1991, the park was created as a partial reconstruction of the old Vechta fortress with moats. The citadel was built on the orders of Prince-Bishop Christoph Bernhard von Galen in 1666 as a defense system. The area covers 22 hectares - enough space to relax, do sports or visit the wonderful rose garden with the baroque pavilion. Then it is worth climbing up to the viewing platform of the Friedrich-Christian Bastion. From here you not only have a wonderful view of the area and can watch the hustle and bustle at the train station right next to the park - you also have a great overview of the "Castrum Vechtense", a medieval reconstruction of the old Vechta Castle, which was built in 2014 in the Citadel Park. The Citadel Park is located west of the railway line at the end of the "Citadel" street, which is a dead end. https://nordkreis-vechta.de/zitadellenpark/25414

After the revolution of 1848, jurisprudence was separated from administration in the Kingdom of Hanover and patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished.[1] The district court was then founded as the royal Hanoverian district court with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities. It included the Diepholz office and the Auburg zu Diepholz office.[2] The district court was subordinate to the Nienburg Higher Court.[3] In 1859 it was assigned to the judicial district of the Osnabrück Higher Court. At the same time, the Lemförde district court was dissolved and its jurisdiction was added to that of the Diepholz district court.[4] With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia, it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover.
