With the help of EU funds, a bog tunnel was set up here, which gives you a look under the earth and tells the gruesome fate of a bog corpse. You can also walk an educational trail here, ride a moor train and then treat yourself to a delicious buckwheat pancake.

And the Goldenstedter Moor has been under protection since 1984 and has since been rewetted so that it should take on its original shape, which may take a few more centuries - although what can be seen at the moment is already very impressive and warrants more than just one visit.
