Beautiful ruins even nicer than the castle in Vianden

Castle ruins, mostly locked. If the gate is open, you can enter, but some areas are closed off.

The rocky ridge above today's town of Vianden was first fortified in late antiquity. I like to recommend a hike from Vianden to Falkenstein Castle over the ridge. You can't get to the castle. But the way is awesome!
