A magnificent castle complex that had fallen into ruin for a time, but is now once again a top highlight of the region.
The scientifically supervised renovation work on the castle complex began with the nationalization of the castle in 1977. During our visit in July 2017, most of the work was completed, and the results, in my opinion, are impressive.
Open daily from 10:00 a.m. and, depending on the season, until 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., or 6:00 p.m. (except New Year's Day and Christmas Day).
