Beautiful ruins even nicer than the castle in Vianden

Castle ruins, mostly locked. If the gate is open, you can enter, but some areas are closed off.

Iconic castle. Looks nice on the mountain and overlooks Vianden.

I like to recommend a hike from Vianden to Falkenstein Castle over the ridge. You can't get to the castle. But the way is awesome!

Even if you only get to the gate. The path is incredibly great and recommendable.

The Brandenburg castle ruins are among the most imposing castles. It consists of a mighty upper and a sophisticated lower castle (the basement). The most important areas are easily passable. The highlight of the castle is the freely accessible keep and the deep cellar under the former chapel. And all this without admission 🤩 (Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
