The heath is always beautiful, no matter what time of year. The heathland around Wiwelsberg was bought by the Bonn branch of the Eifel Association in 1913 and placed under protection. It is one of the largest contiguous heathlands in the Eifel, covering around 30 hectares.

Unfortunately, the juniper heaths on the Wiwelsberg are only visited briefly on the Historical Road and not walked through in detail. Nevertheless, it is nice to take a short break on the bench and let your eyes wander. The heathland around the Wiwelsberg was bought by the Bonn local group of the Eifel Association in 1913 and placed under protection. It is one of the largest contiguous heathlands in the Eifel, covering around 30 hectares.
