A route that's easy to drive.

Regular cultural events take place, including the popular "Chorin Music Summer," special and art exhibitions, and guided tours. A permanent exhibition, opened in April 2017, provides information about the life and work of the monks, as well as historical discovery and monument preservation efforts. A free app called "Chorin Monastery 3D - At the Time of the Cistercians" allows for a digital exploration of the complex.

Note that there are many fallen trees between points 5 and 6. Not suitable for heavy e-bikes.

Café

On a small hill in the middle of the village of Brodowin stands the neo-Gothic Stüler building from 1852. In 2013, the church was completely renovated and its original appearance – both inside and out – was restored. Until 1848, the village had a Baroque church, which, however, fell victim to a fire. Shortly thereafter, the renowned architect Stüler was commissioned by the Prussian King Frederick William IV to rebuild it.

The Werbellinsee is located in the north of the Brandenburg district of Barnim, in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. Together with the Werbellin Canal, it forms the Werbellin Waters federal waterway. Up to the Oder-Havel Canal, it is a Class I waterway and falls under the jurisdiction of the Oder-Havel Waterways and Shipping Authority.

In the farm shop you can find pictures of King Charles, who has also visited the Demeter farm in Brodowin.
