An exhibition on the history of the Chorin Monastery is located in the basement vaults of the west wing. By means of various display boards and other exhibits, one can look back very clearly in the approximately 750-year history of the monastery. Particularly exciting is the relief map with the other buildings that belonged to the surroundings of the monastery. A cross illuminated in the background and a spade illustrate the life's work of the Cistercian monks: "pray and work".
