This refers to the northern Gamensee. It is one of many in a long chain. It was created as the remains of a glacial channel. Accordingly, the lake is narrow and long. This area is a good place to walk/drive if you are prepared to climb over various fallen trees. The surroundings are rather rustic and have some narrow paths.
