Small detour from the main path, a sign shows the way to the impressive sea of rocks.

Rocky vantage point, which is not far from the main path and is definitely worth the detour.

Beautiful piece of nature. And not that far to walk there either. If you start walking from the Fichtelgebirge snack bar on the B303, it's via the Seehaus and Nußhardt only about 6 km, if you then walk about 2 km further you're right on the highest mountain in Franconia, the 1051m high Schneeberg.

Nice way to the Haberstein, great rock formations, great view

Very nice Felsenmeer with a wonderful view.

Exciting place. A sea of granite boulders in the middle of nowhere. It's amazing what nature can do. You should stick to the barriers as a matter of urgency and be satisfied with the views of the blocks and the information boards.

From the Haberstein you have a wonderful view of the Ochsenkopf and Bischofsgrün. Well-made information boards at the granite block sea provide information about the formation, fauna and flora of the block heap.

The Großer Waldstein in the Fichtelgebirge has a wow effect for me, the mighty rock formations just amaze you. The summit plateau is easy to reach and has a wonderful view in all directions. Since there is a hiking parking lot directly below, it is a good starting point for many hikes.
