このマンモスツリー（原産国：アメリカ、カリフォルニア州）は、1880年頃に植えられました。美しいエキゾチックな景観庭園「Privatklinik Bad Gleisweiler」の入り口に立っています。（この素晴らしい公園には、他にもマンモスツリーがあります。） この木にある案内板によると、「頂上まで伸びる幹は、印象的な赤褐色の樹皮に覆われています。この樹皮は柔らかく繊維質ですが、燃えにくいです。このようにして、マンモスツリーは[カリフォルニア]で頻繁に発生する山火事をほとんど無傷で乗り越えます。」

There are several routes to Teufelsberg. The path past the rock formation is steep and narrow in places, but few hike it.

On this stretch of the path there are some funny wooden sculptures

"The weather cross, consecrated in 1909 by Bishop Konrad von Busch (1847-1910) of Speyer, was created by stonemason Johann Minges and is the highest weather cross on the Haardt mountain range. Locally, it is also known as the Bishop's Cross." You can sometimes see several people on the Meistersel castle ruins (with binoculars).
