This beautiful, small shelter (with table) of the PWV Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach used to be a few meters further up. After major pipeline excavation work, the traces of which can still be seen everywhere here, it was moved about 50 - 100 m. (As of Nov. 2024) This shelter is not to be confused with the large bar hut of the PWV Klingenmünster (big festival on May Day!), which is located very close by a little further down.

On the way to the Nikolaus Chapel (or further towards Treutelskopf / Martinsturm) the view extends over the vineyards to Landeck Castle. Landeck Castle does not rise on a mountain peak, but is located on the slope above the valley of the Klingbach. This makes it very present.

A chapel in a fantastic location that reminds me a little of a chapel in a model railway, which is also located in such a beautiful landscape. Perhaps this chapel provided the inspiration for the model. I can imagine that many couples get married here.
