In 1539 there was a farm as an individual estate in Gersdorf, which belonged to the Altzella monastery as a farm. Kriebstein Castle invites you to visit. She is very worth seeing. I was there a few years ago and got a great tour of the castle up to the top floor. The castle was also the location for the fairy tale film "Snow White"....a very successful film.... I can highly recommend a visit to Kriebstein Castle.
