The Rifugio Forcella Pordoi is located at 2,848 meters above the Pordoi Pass in the Dolomites. Its location amidst the rocky giants of the Dolomite limestone peaks makes the hut attractive to hikers, mountaineers, and climbers. It is also located on the Dolomites High Route No. 2 and can be reached from both the Boé Hut and the Pisciadù Hut.

Coming to the Dolomites and not coming up here is a crime. A fairytale pass, especially if approached from the Sella side (or coming from Canazei) envelops you with its forest, worthy of a fairy tale. The descent towards Arabba is a spectacle. To be done at least once in a lifetime!

In the wonder of the "4 steps" that make up the Sellaronda, in my opinion, the Sella offers the most enchanting panorama. I also recommend going down 1km along the paved road (in front of the "Bar in Sella") and enjoying the marvel of being between the Sassolungo and the Sella group.
