CORRECT NAME: CAMPONZIN PASS ROAD A paved road that branches off from the 7 Hairpin Bends (above Sardinia) to the road that climbs to Sopramonte, avoiding unnecessary elevation gain for those who then want to descend towards Cadine/Terlago! Also convenient by car or on foot!

Trento Bondone is always a nice climb, better to do it when you are a bit trained

The climb to Monte Bondone from Trento, starts from Via delle Mandolare and leads up to about 1650 m of Vason. The route is about 17 km long for 1400 meters of altitude difference with a high average gradient of about 8%. It is a long and challenging climb with a view of the city.

Attention, on the way down to the Rifugio croz del Altissimo, part of the path has broken away at the gully. Status 20.09.2024

After the climb from Trento and the 7 hairpin bends, you really look forward to this saddle. Luckily there is little traffic.

11.655 km almost constant increase

The top of the pass, popular with racing cyclists, has a large car park, accommodation and restaurants. Santèl is located at 1,040 meters and is a good starting point for hikes, you can take the cable car from here to the Paganella.
