The Parish of Saint Nicholas of Bari, located in Lido di Ostia, Rome, is a parish church of great importance. This church, built in the 20th century, is located on the eastern outskirts of Lido di Ostia, near the Stella Polari train station. The area is known as LdO Levante.

The Parish of San Nicola di Bari in Ostia is a simple church surrounded by pine trees and with a beautiful garden surrounding it. The Parish was founded in 1958 with the name "Stella Maris" by the then Bishop of the sector Monsignor Riva. After changing its name to "San Nicola di Bari" in 1981, the parish, thanks to a constant and significant presence of faithful, resisted some pressures that wanted it returned to the original owners. In 1998 it welcomed the Holy Father John Paul II, a moment that is remembered with a commemorative plaque reporting the event bathed in the emotional tears of a child. Today, entrusted to the leadership of Don Roberto Visier (parish administrator), Don Mario Ortega (deputy parish priest) and Don Privat Ndereyimana (parish collaborator), the parish is prosperous in pastoral activity and full of events for all ages.
