The Schladt Mill. A place of longing and a witness to a bygone era. It's a given that it was one of the medieval watermills owned by the Echternach Monastery, to which the inhabitants of Schladt were already subject to taxation in 1050. There is evidence that it later belonged to the fiefdom of the Counts of Manderscheid until 1795, initially without the status of a mill.

It goes up and down quite a bit, but it's better than the tarmac road. unless it's rained a lot, then it might be more difficult. but you can also walk along the tarmac road and get back to the path.

Dear two-legged friends, the bridge is only partially suitable for dogs. Not all animals like to go over the grid or checker plate.

The most important bridge on the Lieser path! Here, on the long third stage, the only option is to have a cool cyclist or coffee & cake or both : ).

One of the few rest stops outside of the cities on the entire Lieserweg. Be sure to use it and stagger across the suspension bridge!
