The parish church of St. Nicholas in Spangdahlem was built in 1874/75 according to plans by the architect Heinrich Bruck from Wittlich. The neo-Gothic hall building is made of red sandstone, a building material typical for the region. The use of hewn red sandstone gives the church its characteristic appearance. This material was used both for the external façade and for decorative elements such as window and door frames.

The St. George Church in Binsfeld, Eifel, was first mentioned as a chapel in 1569. It was expanded in 1777 and elevated to a parish church in 1803. Due to a lack of space, construction of the current church began in 1848. A striking feature is the high altar with tabernacle and a figure of God the Father. In 1951 the ceiling collapsed, but the renovation was completed in 1952. Since 2023 the church has belonged to the parish of Speicher St. Peter and Paul, but has retained its name.

The Binsfelder Weiher in the Eifel is located near the municipality of Binsfeld. It is part of the "Tongruben bei Binsfeld" nature reserve, which was created by former clay mining. Today the pond offers a valuable habitat for rare animal and plant species.

Spangdahlem Air Base is a US air base in Rhineland-Palatinate. It was opened in 1953 and serves the United States Air Force (USAF) as a major base in Europe. The base currently houses the 52nd Fighter Wing, which is equipped with F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft. Spangdahlem plays a central role in NATO defense and supports operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In addition to its military importance, the base is also an important economic factor for the region.
