A wonderful vantage point. But singing like the Loreley isn't easy...

An extraordinary XXL swing bench. A ladder leads up, and having someone with you for a photo would be helpful 😉. I used the timer on my smartphone.

On the way to the swing bench. It's still easy to ride on an e-bike if you're in good shape. A little further on, there's a nice bench for a short break.

Here, the European flag flutters over one of the region's most beautiful rest areas: Nestled high up, surrounded by nature and equipped with sturdy benches, it offers an unobstructed view of the Moselle Valley. Ideal for a picnic, a quiet break—or simply a statement of perspective. 📌 Tip: Take a moment—and slowly turn around in a circle. The panoramic view up here is the real highlight.

Here, Moselle humor meets Mediterranean atmosphere: A "Wetterstein" (weather stone) explains the current weather with a wink, while lavender blooms in full bloom next to it. The bench invites you to linger, and the view of the vineyards is a gift. 😄 Tip: Read the Wetterstein text aloud – it's guaranteed to bring a smile to fellow hikers or other people stopping for a break.

This small stone chapel stands quietly and powerfully on a hilltop, surrounded by meadows and with sweeping views over the valley. A place of contemplation, of reflection, perfect for a moment of rest, a drink, and a deep breath. 🧘 Tip: Even if you're not religious, places like this invite you to take a quiet break. And the shade on the bench next door is worth its weight in gold on hot days.

From here you have a beautiful view of Alt-Piesport.

A lovely little place with some nice locations and delicious wines.
