The Schladt Mill. A place of longing and a witness to a bygone era. It's a given that it was one of the medieval watermills owned by the Echternach Monastery, to which the inhabitants of Schladt were already subject to taxation in 1050. There is evidence that it later belonged to the fiefdom of the Counts of Manderscheid until 1795, initially without the status of a mill.

Via these stairs you leave the path along the Lieser and come to the foot of the vineyard.

As of October 24, the otherwise beautiful path has unfortunately been damaged by forestry work

The old path was re-exposed by citizens of Plein. Now you no longer have to walk along the K21
