The "Auguste" mill is a smock mill built in 1874, featuring a wind rose and shuttered sails. Julius Lemke purchased the mill in 1917, and it has remained in the family ever since. Until 1958, grain was milled using wind power before being converted to electric operation to allow milling even on windless days. Old village church with cemetery in Sieseby. Nice little "pilgrimage". The writer Jurek Becker is buried here. Church open from 10:00 a.m. Inn "Alt Sieseby" is highly recommended.

Windmill Auguste, very nice to look at. The Auguste windmill in Groß Wittensee is certainly the tourist attraction in the small town between Eckernförde and Rendsburg and is therefore part of the Hüttener Berge nature park. The windmill is a cellar Dutch windmill, which is now functional again and can also be operated.

Beautiful, well-kept and free swimming area, with a large lawn and a small sandy beach, which invites you to cool off in the hot summer.
