My dear wife and I passed through there on July 20, 1925, on our hike "Gut Deutsch Nienhof Westensee Schwimm." We had something to eat and drink in the farm café and visited the stone circle.

The exhibition features a complete blacksmith's shop, various agricultural implements, and items from old trades and historic households from the region. A special exhibit is the Jevenstedt Volunteer Fire Department's working sledgehammer from 1888.

Jevenstedt is home to the Blacksmith's Museum, a local history museum run by the Jevenstedt Local History Association (Heimatverein Jevenstedt von 1989 e.V.). The museum is housed in a former farm smithy, first documented in 1722. Between 1993 and 1995, the building was extensively restored and opened as a museum on October 8, 1995.
