The church, built in 1740, stands on elevated ground and was originally located on the southern edge of the village in what was once a fully fortified churchyard. It houses one of the famous Stumm organs from 1787. Inside, remnants of Baroque decorations, such as biblical quotations, coats of arms, and dates, have been uncovered. The Romanesque tower dates from an earlier structure and was probably built around 1200 (Kirchstraße 13).
