Opened on July 29, 2009, the Corridor Park is a three-kilometer-long paved serpentine road that runs from the west side (Waldstraße) up to the summit, across the plateau, and then back down to a ramp in the east, connecting the town of Bergkamen. The blue design elements are reminiscent of the city's blue ribbon, which connects the two town centers with blue mosaic stripes and a stream. The Corridor Park features nine lighthouses made of steel and Plexiglas (see image), shimmering bluish even at night. The "Bastion" viewing platform just below the summit is surrounded by gabions filled with blue glass. The path is rather unsightly, often overgrown, and there are numerous wild boar tracks on the surrounding hiking trails. One path is now closed off by a gate.

The security gate is also a pedestrian bridge, which makes it easy for hikers to cross the canal. It is a bit more difficult for cyclists, as they have to carry their bikes up a few steps and then back down the other side.

Lighthouses line the path through the corridor park. They are made of steel and blue plexiglass. They shine beautifully in the sunlight and also in the evening.
