To the north and east of the Adener Höhe is what is known as the Corridor Park on a kind of plateau. At its core, this is an elongated park that roughly follows the course of the covered forest road. Unusually shaped, approximately eight meter high sculptures made of steel and plexiglass, which are based on the slightly warped form of the headframe of the Monopol colliery, serve as lighting and orientation in the park on the one hand, and on the other hand they form part of a blue band from west to east to the center of Bergkamen. Blue flowering vegetation, blue decorative stones and even blue asphalt markings reinforce this effect.

The Adener Höhe is the highest point of the dump and clearly towers above the rest of the plateau. At the same time, it is the highest place in the surrounding area and in particular the city of Bergkamen. From its summit, if the weather permits, the view extends particularly far to the south and west over the eastern Ruhr area and the Münsterland, as the surroundings in the Lippe lowlands are otherwise mostly flat. Special landmarks are the Haus Aden headframe, the Lanstroper Ei, Cappenberg Castle, downtown Dortmund and Kamen and the Haarstrang ridge in the south, which almost marks the border between the Ruhr area and the Sauerland. ...
