06/12/2019 - The Kampberg chapel on the Kampberg bridge near the train station was considered the "plague chapel". There are no indications of its construction (possibly as early as the 16th century). It is brick and has a square floor plan and a tin tent roof inside. At the altar there is a round-arched picture in a ribbed frame, depicting the crucifixion of Christ with Mary and John, decorated on both sides with angels' heads and votive inscriptions from 1638 and 1714. This chapel belongs to the Prommegger family from Dorfgastein.
