This is simply a fairytale forest. Extremely beautiful. Tall trees that give off so much shade that there is little low vegetation. The winding bike path fits the picture perfectly. Do not go on this path with a group on busy days and do not descend at full speed due to other (bicycle) traffic. The cycling paths along the roads to Ermelo and Staverden are the best alternative.
