In the Vejsnæs Nakke region in the extreme east of the island, one can see the traces of the formerly built St. Albert's church. But who expects ruins or even a church here will surely be disappointed. The visit is worthwhile in any case alone because of the impressive and lonely coastal landscape.
At St. Alberti is originally a very old rampart or fortification that served to defend the island from 700 to 1300. However, excavations did not take place until 1996, before there were only fields and no one knew what was hiding in the underground here.
