The Liether Kalkgrube lies in the circle Pinneberg, east of the village Klein Nordende. It is a former opencast mine, which was set in 1986. The area was designated as a nature reserve in 1991 and honored in 2006 as a "National Geotope".See also: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liether_Kalkgrube
