In 1428 a chapel was first mentioned in Rodder.

When the chapel was rebuilt in 1907, the lava border of the round-arched portal with the year 1745 was reused. The quarry stone chapel with four axes and a retracted choir has been extensively renovated in recent years.

There is a round window above the portal and a rectangular turret sits on the roof, crowned by a weathervane. The two bells are from 1481 and 1558. Buttresses on the nave and chancel divide the outer wall. Source: rodder-eifel.de/rochus-kapelle
