In any case, the small detour a few stairs down to the bridge and to the information board and reading the saga are very interesting and from here a little way along the Schwarzbach with some sure-footedness to the point where the Schwarzbach flows under the hiking path. Was worth seeing.

Teufelsmühle waterfallOn the hiking trail from Bischofsheim to the Holzberghof (marked blue, open drops) there is the small, idyllic Teufelsmühle waterfall about halfway. As the legend tells, a shrewd man is said to have set the devil in such a way that he was annoyed green and black. A clear information board on site tells the fun story.Tip: The Teufelsmühle waterfall can also be hiked with the circular hiking trail no.4 (natural history hiking trail) from the Holzberghof or Rothsee hiking car parks, which provides clear information about the geology of the Rhön and, among other things, the small visitor mine "Braunkohlestollen Einigkeit 1844" integrated (total length of the circular route 9.4 km, 285 meters ascent, medium difficulty).

Very nice hiking trail. From the Holzberghof to the Teufelsmühle - about 900 m there is a wide hiking trail (No. 4) over the Teufelsmühle. A circular route over the Rothsee approx. 10 km is recommended here.
