Located between the mouth of the Waihou River and the locality of Puriri The "Matatoki Cheese Barn" is a barn transformed into a very welcoming place, where you will be served excellent coffee, a hearty meal and as its name the indicates succulent cheeses.
For your comfort, tables are set up in front of the shop. In good weather, it is a real pleasure to stop here. Cyclists are warmly welcomed.

Worth the visit, great food, tasty coffee, awesome cheese and cycle friendly. There are racks for bikes and good local knowledge. Tell all cyclists to see if it is open on the way past!
