The Keltertal can be reached from the Schützenhaus (Vöhringen) in a few minutes (downhill):), very well-kept barbecue area and firewood is usually enough available.

The carvings are really worth seeing !!!

The rest area Keltertal has not only been completely renewed, but also much more beautiful: Thanks to the Traugott Plocher Foundation and the Citizens for Citizens Initiative.

the rest area has been officially reopened in the middle of the forest. Mayor Stefan Hammer, Ulla Plocher of the Foundation and Hermann Lehmann of the citizens' initiative cut through the band, which was tense at the entrance. The "gate" is the eye-catcher: It consists of oak trunks with numerous carvings.

The work of chainsaw artist Igor Loskutov - a true master of his craft. Trees, deer, birds, hikers, cyclists and much more, he carved with his device from the oak.

The Traugott Plocher Foundation has taken over the costs. 12,000 euros have been invested in this project, said Ulla Plocher. She had reservations about whether the renovation of the rest area citizens could be expected for citizens. When she saw the result, she could breathe a sigh of relief, "It's great, I should not have worried," she confessed. And she also enjoyed watching the progress of the work.

The citizens for citizens had in fact with the renovation of the rest area planned a lot: "It was a huge project," said Hermann Lehmann, the largest so far. Actually, only a few benches should be repaired. Then one came to the other. 840 working hours were incurred at the end. There were also many problems in the work, but they all could be solved, emphasized Hermann Lehmann. "It's a nice thing for the benefit of the citizens," he said, pointing to the successful work.

For that, Mayor Stefan Hammer thanked everyone involved. Many would have worked hand in hand. In addition to the citizens' initiative and the foundation, some companies also supported the project. Hammer thought it was therefore appropriate to dedicate the rest area in a slightly larger frame. In addition to local councils, the women of the citizens came for citizens. In the town hall there had also been various inquiries as to whether older people, who are not so good on foot, could be granted a special permit for journeys by car to the Keltertal. Hammer did not promise that. But one considers to set a day on which a shuttle service to the rest area will be set up.

Hermann Lehmann and Mayor Hammer then unveiled a blackboard with the names of the donors and the helpers. A minute's silence was spent on Lothar Klingele, who has done a great deal for the citizens of the citizens.

Overall, the Traugott Plocher Foundation has provided 20,000 euros for various citizen actions in Vöhringen. The initiative can continue to count on financial support. Next, as Ulla Plocher announced, play equipment for smaller children will be set up at the rest area. What else to do, "we'll think about that in winter," she explained.
