Tuixent is a town located on the southern slope of the Serra del Cadí, in the Alt Urgell region. It was an independent municipality until 1973, when it was united with the district of Josa de Cadí. He is currently the municipal head of Josa and Tuixén. In 2018 its population was 116 inhabitants.
