Hiking
The little blue gendarme is always easy to find and a nice companion on a cozy path right by the water. I find it nice that most dogs really accompany their bipeds on a leash.

The location of South Jutland as a border region makes this part of the country something special, not least in the light of history. After reunification in 1920 the border and shipping were monitored by the border gendarmes. The patrols took place on foot along the coast and each gendarme had to check a specific section of the border.
