Hiking
The Vennbahntrasse was built in the Prussian era as an economic route between Aachen and Troisvierges (Belgium). After the Second World War, the Vennbahn was only partially in operation. From 1989, the last sections of the Vennbahn were finally shut down and dismantled. It was built in their place a bike and a hiking trail.
