    The garden of Brécy dates from the second half of the 17th century. He is one of the rare examples of this time remaining in France. Legend has it that Mansart, who worked on Balleroy Castel, was the creator of these gardens. The house dates from the 1620s. In 1646, Brécy was bought by Jacques I Le Bas and the driveway was built. From this time until 1697 the garden is created. The pavilions date back to the 18th century. Sometimes spoiled, sometimes abandoned, Brécy is rescued in 1958 thanks to Jacques de Lacretelle and his wife. During this time, the form cutting garden is created. In 1992, Didier and Barbara Wirth took over the work to restore the architectural elements, to complete the garden and to beautify the surrounding landscape.
