Thanks to an enlargement of the passage in 1935, the "Upper Gate" survived the times. With the magnificently designed coat of arms (coat of arms of the Grand Master, more German Order crests and the old coat of arms with the two crossed leeks) it greets the guests coming from the east. It houses the armory of the vigilante Lauchheim on the ground floor, above it our museum in the gate tower.
