Before and after the Schrofenpass (1,688 meters) you will carry your bike for about 45 minutes. The last 400 meters are particularly narrow and right on a rock face, some places are secured with wire ropes and iron bridges. A head for heights and surefootedness are a must. You should carry your bike on your shoulder (valley side!).

The subsequent downhill is classified as S3 and can only be ridden by very experienced and technically experienced bikers.
