Mountain biking

The hunting lodge has since been elaborately renovated into an event location and looks very beautiful, but I also remember the ruin from my childhood. Right next to the castle is a great restaurant with really delicious food. In summer, a small hut is also open – it offers snacks as well as beer and soft drinks. A mini-golf course, a children's playground, and a barbecue hut are also available. Furthermore, the plateau is a good starting point for many great tours/routes. Some trails are also available.

The hunting lodge was built in 1823-1826 by Duke Wilhelm I of Nassau. Destroyed to the outside walls in the Second World War, it is currently being gradually rebuilt by the Jagdschloss Platte e.V.
The castle can already be used for events.
From here, hikes along the main Taunus ridge can be undertaken.
We recommend a detour to the highlight "beautiful view of Wiesbaden" (komoot.de/highlight/181783).
