Laholm is Halland's oldest town, dating back to the 13th century. Gamleby's winding streets have retained its medieval character, while Stortorget Square is dominated by the beautiful 18th-century town hall.
On the facade of the town hall is the knight's game. It was published in 1942 by Stig Blomberg. It is a table of peace in Laholm in 1278, when a dance and a Swedish knight met in a tournament. This can be seen every day at 9, 12, 15 and 18 o'clock.
