The Serio waterfalls are among the most particular that exist in Italy. With their jump of over 300 metres, they are among the highest in Europe. Furthermore, the waterfalls are formed only 5 times a year, on pre-established dates, as a result of the opening of the dam. Famous waterfalls formed by the Serio river, a few kilometers after its birth (Passo del Serio), in the municipality of Valbondione: the head of the waterfall is at 1715m, not far from the Curò refuge. The waterfalls are over 300m high and are divided into 3 jumps.
