The Wellheim Castle is a former fortification in Upper Bavaria. The ruin of the castle is dominating on a rock above the Wellheim in the Urdonautal. It was abandoned in the 18th century and partially demolished.

Road cycling

The complex, whose irregular ring is adapted to the rocky peak, consists of the approximately 35 m high keep made of hump blocks and the opposite Palas - both belonging to the Romanesque upper castle - a lower castle and the Zwinger built in front of it in the 15th century with a small round tower the north corner. The road now leads through the ditch.
