At the dam there is a view of Ringkøbing Fjord, where kite surfers are often on the water. The tourist town of Søndervig is easy to see in the north and the trading town of Ringkøbing is visible in the south-east. Many swans 🦢 can still be seen on both sides of the dam in November.
