Recently, at the beginning of August 2025, a huge landslide happened overnight, destroying two climbing routes: Big Loose Corner and Carnivore. Here you can see the lighter colored stone where 200,000 cubic meters of rock slid loose.

As part of the Federal Pass / Mount Solitary Trail / Ruined Castle Track, this area is characterised by its big boulders that came off the cliff above and the vegetation that is slowly taking over again. The track leads right through this rugged landscape and requires some 'rock hopping', but it offers stunning views of the cliff from below and the surrounding rainforests.
