The middle summit of the Wildstrubel (3243.5 m above sea level) can be reached via the Wildstrubel glacier from the Lämmerenhütte. This is a light high tour and the appropriate knowledge / equipment should be present / be carried.

To the west and north of the Wildstrubel falls steeply; on the southeast flank is the Wildstrubel Glacier, which is drained via the Lämmerenalp to Daubensee. On its southern flank lies the extensive Glacier de la Plaine Morte.
