A very nice, quiet valley for a relaxed hike, which is also suitable for prams (stay on the road). The starting point is Sankt Gertraud in the Ulten Valley. There are also parking spaces if you don't want to take the bus from Meran.

The Kirchbergalm - Kaser (1893 m) in the Kirchbergtal is open from mid-June to mid-September. Own butter production. Traditional alpine dishes.
In Sankt Gertraud you can still see the historic Lahn sawmill.
