There are different names, castle or castle, I do not know 🤔 The castle was built in the 14th century at the mouth of the river Sienne. It was supposed to protect the dry dock of Regnéville-sur-Mer, one of the most important on the Cotentin peninsula, until the 17th century. Partially demolished at the end of the Hundred Years War between England and France, the site was partially rebuilt during the 17th and 18th centuries.
